Play: Singapore - Jurong Bird Park

Finally have the chance to pay a visit to the Bird Park. Its been a long while since I step in there although I have always wondered how much it has changed. It has changed ALOT since I last been here.

Jurong Bird Park - Entrance

 There are so many kinds of birds waiting for you the moment you step into the park.

The whole park is divided into different parts and themes. One of the main attraction theme is the Lory Loft. This is the world's largest Lory Flight Aviary. There is the two-tiered central feeding tower where visitors have the opportunity to feed the birds by hand with a special nectar mixture. This amazing experience increases as throngs of lories gather to feed.

There is also a man made waterfall in the African Waterfall Aviary. Its a magnificent sight especially for Singapore where you do not have such a natural waterfall.

It's a great place to spend a nice morning and afternoon immersing in the various species of birds. There are also various bird shows available in the park to entertain you.

How to get there: Take the MRT to Boon Lay Station (EW27) and transfer to SBS number 194 or 251 at the Boon Lay Bus Interchange.
